HEY T2!!!!!! this is XINKAI!!!!!! anyway, here to say some stuff for cheering comp la,
1. we seriously seriously seriously need your cooperation, try and get free time to practise cheering comp. our progress today was really good, so if we keep it up, only a few more practices would be needed.
2. when you're going for the cheering comp, just be ENTHU! and voice out anything you don't know. afterall, it might be a problem we could consider and help refine our performance.
3. when doing actions, do it BIG BIG! and make it swift if needed, and dramatically slow when its called upon. for example, be swift when we're doing mass displays. =D the reason why we need big actions is because we're on the STAGE, and we need to do big fat actions for people to see. =D
4. last but not least, we need your LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD LOUD VOICE! rather obvious i know, but some of you just prefer to keep your pristine voice to yourself. SHOW IT OFF LA!
well, i know some of you are extremely busy, and i agree the school's organisation is moronic (what the hell, barely 2wks or so after preliminary round we hve finals alrdy, furthermore its a day after common test?!!) which is why cooperation is needed la. by cooperation, i mean that you all shld keep quiet and listen to anyone teaching you things when needed, but be loud, be enthu, when you're practising.
WILLINGNESS and ENTHU is very different. a simple analogy: i may study for physics only because i need to, so when i answer, i answer the minimal needed to score, when i study, i study the minimal needed as well. however, if i love physics, i would be studying more than needed just because i want to, when answering questions in exam, i answer more in-depth just because i can.
now, compare that to your spirit towards cheering comp. if you were only willing, you would be thinkin: oh well, i have to what. so just join loh. if you were enthu about it: WOO! its gonna be so fun!
but then again, if you find it a waste of time and whatsoever, you still have to join what. then if you're only willing, no point joining and causing unhappiness, no point disrupting the practices with some random noises, laughter whatsoever. why not just have fun with us, practice properly? makes more sense right. you can be happy if you choose to. but if you choose to be happy, you do the right things to make that happen. =D
well, life has to go on anyway, make it happy instead of unhappy, and while you're at it, make others' life happy as well la. ADAM KHOO: do it once, do it FAST, do it RIGHT (ps. ignore the do once. practice makes perfect =D)
forever and always
